Community Clean-Up Day

Description

Community Clean-Up Day is Saturday, September 29^th.  Persons within the Lowell Area Schools district can come with up to one truck or trailer full of stuff to throw in dumpsters. Go to www.discoverlowell.org for more information.
 

• Boy Scouts – metal recycling
• Comprenew – office & household electronics, computer component & accessories
  • A recycling fee will be charged for CRTs (cathode Ray Tube) TVs and monitors, based on screen size
  • 27” or below - $10 cash / 28” or above - $20 cash

• Lowell Light & Power* – Room ACs and dehumidifiers (LL&P customers receive $15 rebate), all refrigerators and freezers (LL&P customers receive $50 rebate 10’-30’)
  • *LL&P customers’ appliances must turn on to receive rebate.
• Kent County DPW* – hazardous wastes and any tires (limit 6 per household)
  • Will accept hazardous wastes and tires from anyone in Kent County
