Journeyman Lineworker

Job Description
Under the direction of the Line Crew Foreman or designated supervisor, the Journeyman Lineworker performs skilled work in the construction, maintenance, and operation of LL&P’s electric distribution system. This position involves installing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical equipment; responding to outages and emergency conditions; working outdoors in all weather conditions; climbing poles and structures; and participating in a rotating on-call schedule. Qualified applicants must hold Journeyman Lineworker status, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe. Within six (6) months of hire, there is a residency requirement within 30 minutes of the City limits.
