Description
Meegan Holland of Michigan Retailers Association will talk about the economic impact of shopping local, based on a recent study that MRA commissioned. She’ll give a brief overview of what MRA is doing to support brick and mortar stores, particularly its “Buy Nearby” campaign that encourages shoppers to keep their money in the Mitten! She’ll also walk through some strategies on what your downtown can do to rev up a shop-local promotion. There will also be some swag involved to spread the shop-local love!
