The building remained a functioning school until 1961. \n	Listed with the Michigan State Register of Historic Places in 1959\, the iconic Fallasburg Covered Bridge spans 100-feet across the Flat River leading into the sleepy Village.  Signs at each portal warn of a "$5 fine for riding or driving faster than a walk." \n	The 3rd Annual Fallasburg Village Celebration will take place on Saturday\, July 27\, from 11 AM   5 PM. Join us for musical entertainment\, activities and demonstrations\, artisan market\, classic car and motorcycle show and more!\n\n\nPrep your 30-second commercial and don't forget your business card for the door prize.
